MANAGEMENT: The ABCEP Board of Trustees developed a committee structure to support implementation of the strategic plan. In 2011 six committees were formed to begin formulating implementation plans for advancing ABCEPs strategic priorities. ABCEPs Strategic Plan is implemented by volunteer CEPs who serve on the following committees: Membership Benefits, Communications, Certification Review Board, Marketing/Recognition, Pre CEP, and Executive Committees. ABCEPs Executive Committee provides oversight for efficient functioning of the ABCEP BOT, its committees and the CRB. Assures that ABCEP is financially sound and follows all written procedures, its bylaws and ethical practices. Initiate financial service options and benefit options for ABCEP membership.
The Members Services Committee's mission is to support ABCEP members by development and implementation of benefits that support their professional needs including career growth and networking opportunities. To support ABCEP through retention and diversification of its membership.
The Certification Review Board (CRB) evaluates applications for the CEP within three months, answering questions and assures the applicant is kept appraised of the status of their application.
