ABCEP's Board of Trustees

ABCEP is a voluntary association headed by a Board of Trustees. The Board is composed of twelve at-large elected members from the environmental field and one ex-officio member, all of which are members of ABCEP and are CEP's in good standing. The members of the Board of Trustees are elected to serve a three-year term of office. The BOT meets in person twice each year at various locations around the country.

Through a committee management structure, Trustees conduct strategic planning, establish policy and procedures, prepare and implement plans and play an active role in building the success of ABCEP and its CEP Membership. Management of ABCEP is conducted using both standing committees and ad-hoc committees. In 2011 six committees were established to begin formulating implementation plans for advancing ABCEPs strategic priorities. Committees established include: Membership Services, Pre CEP, Certification Review Board, Marketing/Recognition, and Communications.
