Nadine Jackson-Bey
In December 2007, Nadine Jackson-Bey was appointed as the new Executive Director for the Academy of Board Certified Environmental Professionals. Nadine accepted the position with great excitement and enthusiasm. As the Executive Director, she plans to continue the professional image that has already been established as well as institute new and more innovated ways of doing buisness.
Nadine has 21 years of State service working in Government for the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE). She currently serves as the Executive Assistant to MDE’s Assistant Secretary. This position requires working directly with both MDE and the Governor’s Executive Staff. This position also requires frequent contact with other cabinet level officials, Maryland State Legislators and stakeholders. She also serves as liaison between the Assistant Secretary and all of the Administrations that report directly to him. For many years, she assisted in staffing the Governor appointed Environmental Justice & Sustainable Community Commission formerly the Environmental Justice Advisory Committee and was known as the go-to-person for both. The MDE Executive Assistant position requires wearing many hats on any given day. Nadine is known for her flexibility, organization, and professionalism as well as outstanding customer service.
Nadine is also the Owner/Founder of NaeDay Productions, LLC, an event planning business for small to medium sized businesses. She is currently a member of the following organizations: Society of Government Meeting Professionals, the Baltimore Downtown Partnership, the Maryland Tourism Council and the West County Chamber of Commerce.
Nadine is looking forward to working with the ABCEP Board of Trustees, the CRB members, CEP members and all sponsors and vendors associated with ABCEP. Please feel free to send greetings of welcome to Nadine at office@abcep.org.
