Applicants are responsible for getting transcripts, letters of recommendation and other application materials to ABCEP within one year of the application fee payment. Your transcripts, letters of recommendation, and the other application materials will be verified as received by ABCEP. Some applicants use e-mail to request letters of recommendation from their professional colleagues.

- Click here for a copy of the 2025 Essay Questions (Current Version). The 2025 essay questions are now the preferred version for all applicants. ABCEP will transition to using only the 2025 essays in the coming months.

There is an initial application fee and a certification fee. Please refer to the Step-by-Step Application Process for each type of Certification.
